What can I do on Llanddulas Beach?

A rocky beach with fine views along the coast, Llanddulas Beach connects the sandy beaches of Colwyn Bay and Abergele Pensarn.

Facilities here are all you need for a trip to the beach – there’s ample parking, a scenic picnic area and toilets. In the nearby village of Llanddulas, you will find a shop and places to eat.

Walkers and cyclists will particularly like Llanddulas Beach as it forms part of the Wales Coast Path and National Cycle Route, enjoy the path as it runs very close to the shore here! The beach itself is not accessible but the coast path is wide and level for the most part.

How do I get here?

Llanddulas Beach is accessible by car from the A55 with ample car parking adjacent to the beach. This stretch of coastline forms part of the Wales Coast Path and National Cycle Route 5.

Can I walk my dog on Llanddulas Beach?

Conwy County is proud to be a dog-friendly destination but there are restrictions on where and when you can walk your dog on the beach. Some beaches welcome dogs all year round but many do not allow them (except for registered guide dogs and assistance dogs) between the 1^st May - 30^th September and some prohibit dogs all year round. Whatever the restrictions, we encourage you to ensure your dog is always under control, both on and off the lead. We also ask that you pick up after your dog as it is an offence not to. Lastly, dispose of dog waste in a convenient litter bin.
