The Upland Walk reveals some of the hidden history of the landscape above Penmaenmawr, rich in birds and wildlife species.

Along the route are five locations of interest, which are described in more detail in the accompanying leaflet, as well as other interesting facts about the surrounding area.

The walk has a steep ascent and steep descent and is along mainly lanes, tracks and grassy paths.

Length of walk approximately 5.5 miles (9 km) with an optional route of an additional 1.5 miles.

Start and finish the walk from the Library car park in Penmaenmawr. Refreshments are available from local shops and pubs in the town.
