Discover the art of creating a quintessential afternoon tea in this delightful hands-on course. Learn how to make a tempting selection of delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones, sweet treats and classic accompaniments, along with tips for presenting everything beautifully. Whether you’re preparing for a special occasion or simply want to master the art of afternoon tea, this course is a relaxed and enjoyable way to create an elegant spread to share.

Your day begins at 9.45am in the Furnace Café, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and have the chance to meet your fellow delegates and your chef.

Your chef will introduce you to the class menu and talk you through how the day will run before you’re shown to your own workspace in our fully equipped Cookery School kitchen. With step-by-step tuition throughout, your chef will be on hand to guide and assist you, making the experience fun, relaxed and easy to follow - whether you’re a confident cook or a complete beginner.

All ingredients, aprons and drinks are provided throughout the class, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a container for taking your delicious creations home.

By the end of the class, you’ll leave with new cooking skills, recipe notes and the dishes you’ve prepared yourself to enjoy at home.

This is a full day course, running from 9.45am until 4.00pm.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
