Arweinyddiaeth Strategol Llythrennedd

Bydd Dysgu a CAL:ON yn cyflwyno cyfres o weithdai undydd ar Arweinyddiaeth Strategol Llythrennedd ledled Cymru yn ystod tymor yr hydref 2026. Maer gweithdai hyn wediu cynllunio ar gyfer uwch arweinwyr a chydlynwyr sydd chyfrifoldeb am lythrennedd ar draws yr ysgol gyfan.

Lle bon briodol, mae croeso i ysgolion enwebu cydlynydd llythrennedd i fynychu ochr yn ochr r uwch arweinydd.

Maer gweithdai yn agored i bob ysgol a gynhelir ac Unedau Cyfeirio Disgyblion (UCDau).

Ffocws y rhaglen:-

* adnabod blaenoriaethau llythrennedd yn effeithiol
* datblygu neu fireinio strategaeth llythrennedd ysgol gyfan
* gweithredu a gwerthusor strategaeth honno

Yn ogystal, bydd y gweithdain archwilio dulliau o ddatblygu a/neu alinio strategaethau llythrennedd ar draws clystyrau o ysgolion. Lle bon ymarferol, byddai cydlynu presenoldeb o fewn clwstwr yn fuddiol, gydar arweinwyr llythrennedd strategol or ysgol uwchradd ac o leiaf un ysgol gynradd bartner yn mynychu gydai gilydd ar yr un diwrnod. Lle nad yw hyn yn bosibl, bydd y sawl syn mynychu dal i dderbyn yr adnoddau ar canllawiau angenrheidiol i gefnogir broses o alinio ar draws eu clystyrau.

Strategic Leadership of Literacy

Dysgu and CAL:ON will be delivering a series of one-day Strategic Leadership of Literacy workshops across Wales during the autumn term 2026. These workshops are designed for senior leaders with responsibility for whole-school literacy.

Schools may also nominate an additional literacy lead to attend alongside the senior leader where appropriate.

The workshops are open to all maintained schools and PRUs.

The programme will focus on:

* identifying literacy priorities effectively
* developing or refining a whole-school literacy strategy
* implementing and evaluating that strategy

In addition, the workshops will explore approaches to developing and/or aligning literacy strategies across school clusters. Where feasible, coordinating attendance within a cluster would be beneficial, with strategic literacy leads from the secondary school and at least one partner primary attending together on the same day. Where this is not possible, participants will still gain the tools and guidance needed to support alignment across their clusters at a later stage.

Workshop dates and locations are provided below. Tea/coffee will be provided from 9am and the workshop will conclude at 3pm. Further details will be shared during the autumn term.
